ABSTRACT This work aims to analyze the sublime figure of the «mountain», and its material imagination, in Heidegger's inter?war reflections, in order to show how they trace the guidelines of his conception of Dasein's freedom as Selbstbildung («self?configuration»), as well as establishing of the philosophical?political consequences of these reflections.
