Resumen:
Linear habitats are capable of providing essential resources for small mammals within the 22 agroecosystems. We analyzed demographic parameters of Akodon azarae in a linear habitat of 23 central Argentina. We used CMR models to determine temporal variations in survival, recruitment 24 and population growth rate. The effects of temperature, rainfall and vegetation cover as well as of 25 population abundances on the mentioned parameters were assessed in a ten-year study. Survival and 26 growth rate showed seasonal variation, which was greater than the interannual variability observed. 27 Temperature affected only recruitment. Linear habitats would provide resources for long term 28 survival and reproduction of A. azarae.
