Exact results for nonlinear sequential laminates

Specific classes of composites whose effective response can be determined exactly are of significanttheoretical value, for they can be used to assess the accuracy and relative merits of more general approximate methods. This work deals with a special class of composites known as sequential laminates, extensively studied in the linear context, but comparatively less investigated in the nonlinear context.
