In this work, the morphology of the nanoporosity developed in Y2O3-doped ZrO2 powders synthesized by different gel-combustion routes, was investigated by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). Other techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and specific surface area measurements (BET), were also employed.
