During 2016, 576corneal trasplants were performed in Argentina, managed centrally by theINCUCAI (Instituto Nacional Central Unico Coordinador de Ablación e Implante),but more than 3000 patients stay in waiting list until the appearance ofcorneal tissue.Since   1999,  under   Ordinance   No . 269 / 99   (INCUCAI)   T.   cruzi seropositiveindividuals are not accepted as donors which generates among 15 discardeddonors / year due to their serological status.Considering thatthere are no studies about the presence of parasites in human tissue eyes weanalyze the presence of T. cruzi in corneas, sclera and eye muscle oftwo seropositive donors
