Oriented ZSM-5 growth onto a flat stainless steel support

XRD pattern shows that the synthesis produces a highly crystalline ZSM5 coating and the relative intensities of the signals indicates a highly oriented coating with the c-axis perpendicular to the support surface. SEM images confirm a total coverage of crystals over the support and a film thickness between 3 and 10 ¥ìm (1 to 3 hydrothermal synthesis) with high intergrowth and columnar microstructure. The crystals c faces planes point outward the support surface. The EPMA analysis of the ZSM5-5 coating cross-section shows an enrichment in Al, Cr and Fe due to their migration from the support to the zeolite growth. The TPD-NO of the In-exchanged samples shows one NO2 signal located in one peak at low temperature. The species associated are the InO+ interchanged in the zeolite framework. An In-ZSM5/FeCrAl monolith evaluated in the SCR of NOx with methane in oxygen excess shows a 75 % of NOx to N2 conversion at 450 ¨¬C.
