Resumen:
Rhizobium-legume symbiosis produces crops improvements, peanut among them. Environmental stress can damage soil microorganisms by modifying some physiological and biochemical parameters. Our aim was to analize the effects of hypersaline stress on the biochemical and physiological parameters of peanut Bradyrhizobium TAL 169. This was grown at 28C on YEM, and/or supplemented with NaCl 100 or 400 mM. Lipids were obtained and were identified by TLC. With NaCl 400 mM biomass increased nineteen fold and proteins 25 %. Trehalose was detected in the control and raised 160% with NaCl 400 mm. Free fatty acids, fatty acids metyl esters and phosphatidylcholine increased with NaCl. Trehalose would behave as a cellular protect in hypersalinity.
