Resumen:
Because the electronic and optical properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) depend sensitively on tube structure,a major goal in SWNT production is to control the distribution of nanotube diameters and chiralities in the product. For methods in which nanotubes are grown from gaseous precursors on metallic catalyst particles, the size distribution of the catalyst particles strongly influences the product composition.
