Indoor positioning based on WiFi

WiFi received signal strength (RSS) and magnetic eld in- tensity are common measures for indoor localization. There is a vast literature on smartphone positioning using them and there is much work done on real-world implementations in the last two decades. Both supervised and unsupervised algorithms have been proposed for indoor localization. In this work, we evaluate the accuracy achievable by fusing WiFi and magnetic eld information, and we brie y consider the accuracy of unsupervised approaches based on WiFi RSS.
