Resumen:
In this research we investigate the psychometric properties of the Social Value Orientation Slider Measure (SVO-SM, Murphy, Ackermann, & Handgraaf, 2011) in samples of university students from Córdoba, Argentina. In study 1 we evaluated reliability (test-retest), convergent (Triple Dominance Orientation measure) and predictive validities (experimental games), using pencil and paper. In study 2 we evaluated the predictive validity, by using computerized, incentive games. In study 3 we evaluated the predictive validity in relation to the decisions in experimental games implemented through an online platform. The results show adequate properties of temporal stability and convergent validity for the SVO slider measure. Although the evidence of predictive validity in relation to decisions in experimental games proved to be partially consistent, there were variations depending on the game and the form of application. The results in light of previous research are discussed.
