Resumen:
One of the most important options for enhancing activity and stability in methane reforming reactions is the use of bimetallic catalyst. Several studies  report that adding noble metals to Ni- based catalyst increases the thioresistance and reduces carbon deposition. For this reason, it has been suggested that the addition of noble metals in the formulation of Ni catalysts can improve the stability and resistance to deactivation of these catalysts, and in this way they are more convenient at industrialscale. This work analyzes the effect of the addition of low Rh contents on the activity, stability and carbon deposition during methane reforming with CO2 in Ni/Al2O3 catalysts.
