Resumen:
The geometrical theory of di rac-tion (GTD) is employed to calculate the di ract-ed eld at the edge of the ground plane of themicrostrip antenna. The eld radiated from thepatch is calculated by the cavity model theory,and then, added to the di racted eld to ndthe radiation pattern, the input impedance, andthe resonance frequency. Computer simulationresults are compared with experimental data.
