Resumen:
We consider the problem of designing the trajectory of a radarmounted on a moving platform. We develop an adaptive algorithmthat, at each time step, optimally selects the radar pathin response to the estimated and predicted target parametersto improve the tracking accuracy. We derive our approach undera framework of sequential Bayesian filtering. We apply asequential Monte Carlo method (particle filter) to implementthe filter for the case of nonlinear measurement models. Wedesign the criterion for the path optimization based on theposterior Cram´er-Rao bound.
