This paper aim to share the results about transport performance in Latinamerica obtained through the workshop series made in collaboration between WB, IFRTD and other national and regional partners. It was to date 4 workshops on performance indicators to the transport sector, held in Kenya [2004], Sri Lanka [2005], South Africa [2006] and Peru [2007]. The common objective of the workshops is to provide a platform for consultation and learning among peers in regard to existing trends and challenges in transport performance monitoring. The workshop series emphasize sharing and learning, and therefore presentations and discussions are not necessarily expected to advance or articulate formal policy positions.
