Resumen:
In this paper I show that Hobbes's texts allow accomodating two accounts of law and the structure of reasons for political obedience. They allow accomodating a carrot-and-stick account, and they also allow accomodating a stratified account. These two accounts are characterized by different elements, and this feature seems to be recognized by Hobbes himself.
