Resumen:
In this paper, I show that Hobbes's texts alows accommodating two accounts of law and the structure of reasons for political obedience. They make room for a carrot-and-stick account, and they also make room for a stratified account. These two accounts are characterized by different elements, and this feature seems to be recognized by Hobbes himself.
