Resumen:
Keggin heteropolyacids (HPAs) are well-knownsince their acids and redox properties, which can becontrolled by the substitution of the centralheteroatom and addenda or transition-metalsubstitutedatoms without changing the fundamentalstructure. The HPAs can be used to replace theconventional inorganic and organic acids in manyliquid-phase reactions1-3. In this work are shown thesynthesis of three new HPAs based in the PMowhere B, La and Y were incorporated into theprimary structure. The HPAs were characterized byICP-AES, TGA, FT-IR, 31P-NMR, potentiometrictitration and were tested as catalysts in the ecofriendlyoxidation of diphenyl sulfide.
