Resumen:
The secondary current distribution in an electrochemicalstack with one bipolar electrode wasexperimentally determined and compared with the theoreticalprediction according to the Laplace equation. Aclose agreement between both results is reported. Theparameters acting upon the current distribution werelumped into a dimensionless variable, called the bipolarWagner number, and its effect on the current distributionand predictive suitability of the theoretical treatment isdiscussed.
