Calibration of the AMIGA ADC channel with T3 shower events

In this GAP note, AMIGA ADC and binary traces are analyzed to obtain an offlinecalibration of the ADC channels and to study the performance of the undergroundmuon detector in the field. First of all, an uncertainty model for the ADC channels ispresented, in which the charge fluctuation is the main contribution to the resolution.We demonstrate that for even low particle densities. the ADC charge behaves linearto the number of muons reconstructed with the binary traces in terms of mean values.A general overview of the results obtained in the station with Id. 1764 is discussedand a test to verify the calibration consistency is presented. Finally, a preliminaryanalysis of the detector uncertainties is discussed. For N = 1 the integrator resolutionis ∼ 20% higher than an ideal Poissonian detector.
