Resumen:
Soon after the first observation of resonant inelastic x–rayscattering by Sparks [1], the gross features exhibited by thissecond order process were studied in the hard x–ray domain atthe K–edge of Cu, but involving only the 2p3=2 !1s deexcitationchannel [2]. In this report we present a high resolutionstudy of the main fingerprints of a RIXS process at the K–edgeof Ti, namely the linear dispersion of the red–shifted Ramanline (Raman Stokes–line) and the subnatural narrowing of theRIXS peak in the vicinity of the K–ionization threshold. Specialattention was put in separating the contribution of the twoRaman lines 2p3/2-->1s and 2p1/2 -->1s.
