Resumen:
The Auger Project includes three types of detectors: telescopes of fluorescence, surface detectors and muons counters. In this work we evaluate the effect that the new telescopes (or ‘eyes’) with an enhanced field of view up to 60º, will have in the number of reconstructed events and their quality. Using numerical simulations we evaluate the mean total efficiency of the eye and the resolution of the reconstruction of the basic parameters of the primary cosmic ray (energy, atmospheric depth of the maximum,  enith angle, etc.), considering cosmic ray showers impinging inside a circular area placed in front of the eye at distances of 5, 7, 9 and 11 km respectively, for four energy values (log(E/eV) = 17.5, 17.75, 18.00 y 18.25) and two types of primaries (protons and irons). The extension of the field of view of the telescopes results of a great advantage in the energy range studied here, due to the fact that the atmospheric depth where the shower develops its maximum number of particles is directly observed by the eye in most cases. Being this atmospheric depth a parameter that is sensible to the chemical composition of the primary cosmic ray, its correct determination will contribute in future composition studies.
