Sky background rejection measurements for the fluorescence detector

We performed a simple experiment in order to measure the noise rejection capability at pixel level for a Dual Mirror system. Under trigger condition similar to that of the Fly's Eye experiment, we found that by overlapping two PMTs from separated mirror the background pixel trigger rate is four orders of magnitude below the single PMT rate. The origin of those triggers is discussed.
