Trigger Efficiency from Hybrid Data

grounds, as an alternative to traditional MC methods. The key idea is to use the unique hybrid capability of the Auger Detector to monitor the trigger efficiency of one instrument using the other. The main advantage of this method is, among others, the independence of any assumptions or model, due to the fact that data is used to obtain the trigger efficiency. An attempt was made to use this method with the EA data, but the present statistics are too small to obtain any conclusion.
