Resumen:
Solution of Fick?s equations for a redox electrochemical reaction involving soluble species under intermediate kinetic control, under a square wave periodic perturbing potentialroutine is presented. The concentration prodiles for both reactant and product for the anodic and cathodic halfcycles have been calculated as a function of both the frequency of the periodic signal and the number of cycles. The calculations which cover both the anodic and the cathodic reaction have been experimentally tested through the  ferri-ferro cyanide redox reaction in 1M NaOH on Pt.
