Resumen:
Niobium and tantalum perovskites for CO2 photocatalytic reduction have been obtained by the hydrothermal method. The materials have been extensively characterized by XRD, TEM,adsorption isotherms and UV-vis and photoluminescence spectroscopies, as well as in situ by APXPS spectroscopy. Photocatalytic tests show CO2 conversion to increase withniobium content, although product distribution depends on the catalyst composition, being CO the main product on Nbcontaining catalysts. Silver loading further modifies selectivity, leading to high selectivities towards methanol at the expense of CO2 conversion.
