Resumen:
As part of an ongoing program that is involved with the photochemical behavior of nitrogen organic compounds (amines´ and alkaloids), we have examined the photoreaction of (-)-quebrachamine in different solvents. The photochemistry of alkaloids is intriguing because of the wide array of new chemical reactions that are now on record in this group of biologically active compounds3a and because of the isolation of oxoalkaloids raises the question whether these compounds are genuine natural products or photochemical products
