Resumen:
Eight hippothoan species Hippothoa flagellum Manzoni, Plesiothoa australis Moyano and Gordon, Celleporella hyalina (L.), C. bougainvillei (dOrbigny), C. discreta (Busk), C. patagonica (Busk), C. yagana Moyano and Gordon and C. tehuelcha sp. nov. are recorded for the Ría Deseado (47º45S, 65º55W). All species are described and illustrated and an identification key is provided. The revision of maagellanic material referred by Calvet to Schizoporella hyalina (L.) showed that it belongs to five different Celleporella species.
