Resumen:
Adipogenesis is regulated by several adipocyte-selective microRNAs(miRNAs) and transcription factors. We have previouslydemonstrated that the expression of the transcriptional coactivatorRAC3 decreases during adipocyte differentiation, favoring the processthrough an increase of autophagy and a decrease in the proliferativerate. In order to determine the mechanism whereby RAC3 expressionlevels are regulated during adipogenesis, we performed publicdatasets analysis and evaluated RAC3 and miRNAs expressionduring adipocyte differentiation (GSE20696 and 20298). After 7days of differentiation, in the murine preadipocyte 3T3-L1 cell line(GSE20696), we observed RAC3 expression was downregulated(43.6% +/- 0.9% respect to control, p1.5-fold change respect to control). We could conclude that the regulation of RAC3 expression duringadipocyte differentiation not only occurs at transcriptional level butalso may involve post-transcriptional regulatory mechanisms th
