Se expuso los avances realizados en la definición de un modelo para evaluar el uso del suelo en tierras áridas dentro del contexto del ACV y los resultados obtenidos para el caso de la provincia de Mendoza. Se expuso en el marco del proyecto "Operational Characterization Factors for Land use Impacts on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in the Life-Cycle Impact Assessment, el 5 de febrero de 2009, en el ETH.
