Resumen:
The quantification of anthropogenic CO2 flux is necessary to estimate the global balance of gaseous emission to atmosphere. The actual tendency shows an increment in their concentration and the greenhouse effect. The landfills are punctual focus of contamination that at different stages of evolution, modify the CO2 flux and composition. We present the preliminary results of CO2 flux measurements by accumulation chambers and C isotopic composition of CO2 in the landfill cap at Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos, Argentina. These results suggest major CO2 flux and impoverished values in earlier stages of evolution, that evolved to enriched values and minor fluxes of the transition from aerobic to anaerobic conditions.
