Styrene Oxidation over Ni-HZSM-11 Zeolites with Hydrogen Peroxide

Some investigations on the styrene oxidation over different catalysts, such as micro and mesoporous materials substituted with metal ions have been reported: Co-MCM-41[1], Ti- MCM-41 [2], Ti-ZSM-5 [3], Co-VSB-5[4], V-MCM-41 [5], and Fe-MCM-41[6].With hydrogen peroxide as oxidant agent it is possible to perform the selective oxidation of olefins to epoxides [7], and the hydroxylation of aromatics compounds [8], the oxidation of primary and secondary alcohols[9], all of them with high selectivity towards important organic products.
