Resumen:
The fieldof polymeric materials is one that has been affected by the global oil crisissince becoming scarce hydrocarbons derived from this industry, and with themthe raw materials of traditional polymers [1]. Producing polymers from renewablesources is an alternative which could contribute to solving in part thisproblem. However, in general these polymers are mechanically weak, which it maylimit its application. The development of nanomaterials and polymeric nanocompositesbased on renewable raw materials has attracted the attention in order to makethem competitive with traditional polymers, by improving mechanical as well asother properties [2]. Therefore, it is interesting combining these fieldsthrough the development and study of ecofriendly nanomaterials and polymericnanocomposites, with improved properties.
