Resumen:
The development of an immunosensor for the point-of-care detection of the mouth and foot cattle disease is presented. The detector is based on a ELISA method with potentiometric detection. A non-structural protein, the 3ABC, is used to selectively detect antibodies produced due to the pathogen. The biological test is performed directly onto an screen printed three electrodes system. A dedicated small, portable potentiostat is employed for the control of the sensors, as well as data acquisition and storage.
