Resumen:
We describe the tasks on astronomical characterisation developed by IATE in an E-ELT candidate site on the Mac ́on Ridge, in the province of Salta, Argentina. The proposed site is located at 4637 m.o.s.l.. An equipment network was installed on the site and is acquiring data since May of 2008. Results are highly promising.
