Wild boar in Argentina and Chile are mostly negative, demanding interactions among different players (scientists, government officials, managers of protected areas, landownwers) to plan a strategy with concrete actions to control its populations in both countries. In this way, to avoid the expansion of Sus scrofa to new areas and to mitigate its damage on native ecosystem and the productive systems of the countries.
