Resumen:
The effect of different metal coatings on the electrochemical properties of hydride-forming metal alloys used as cathode materials of the Ni/MH cell was studied. Pd, Ni and Cu were effective for improving the discharge capacity and rate capability of the alloy electrode. The best performance during charge-discharge cycling was attained for metal-coated alloy electrodes with a metal content of 5-15%.
