Resumen:
Crosstalk among different DSL servicesis a main disturbance source that affects VDSLsystems. In this work the particular emphasisis crosstalk interference produced by a number ofsimilar services that have smaller bandwidth thanVDSL, as is the case of local area networks (LAN).The contribution of this paper is twofold. First, followingsimilar techniques available in the literature,for more general crosstalk, the interference signal isestimated in one band where the tones of VDSL?sDMT are not transmitted, using the typical excessof bandwidth associated to LAN signaling. Second,a discussion to define the bands for LAN interferencecancellation and to extend this result to many interferersis introduced. In order to illustrate the proposedmethodology of LAN crosstalk cancellation,some physical models of the VDSL and interferencesignals are used. Computer simulations using thesemodels are included to verify the cancellation results.
