Aspectos ideológicos en la construcción discursiva de la juventud.

Este trabajo es una aproximación al tema de la juventud como una construcción discursiva, en relación con aspectos ideológicos y cognitivos.  En primer lugar, se problematiza el término “juventud”, y se establecen los distintos modos en que este concepto se usa corrientemente. Posteriormente, se describe el objeto de análisis en tanto construcción discursiva que convalida, entre otras cosas, la diferencia entre el estado de juventud y de vejez. Luego se establecen relaciones entre ideología y lo que aquí llamamos discurso juvenil tomando como fuente los aportes de Bourdieu en sociología, y Van Dijk en análisis del discurso. En especial se atiende al concepto bourdeano de habitus y al de ideología de Van Dijk  y se analiza sus manifestaciones en el discurso juvenil. Para ello, finalmente se analizan muestras empíricas de enunciados producidos por jóvenes universitarios, atendiendo además a otros aspectos, tales como creencias, valoraciones y representaciones discursivas en la conformación de la imagen de juventud y de su lugar social. Abstract The following article is an approach to the subject of youth as a discursive construction in connection with ideological and cognitive aspects. Firstly, we discuss the term youth and establish the different ways in which this concept is regularly used. Later, the object of analysis is described as a discourse construction which validates, among other aspects, the difference between the states of youth and old age. Then, the relationships between ideology and what we call here discourse of the young are established taking as reference both Bourdieu’s sociological contributions and Van Dijk’s in discourse analysis. Special attention is paid to the bourdean concept of habitus  and Van Dijk’s notion of ideology, and their manifestations in  youth discourse  are analysed. For these purposes, we finally analyse real samples of utterances produced by young university students taking into account also other aspects, such as beliefs, values and discourse representations in structuring the image of youth and its social place.
