Resumen:
In this note we present the latest improvements made to our novel method for the determination of the shower missing energy. The method relies on the HeitlerMathews model of hadronic shower cascades to understand the relationship between different shower observables and the missing energy, in order to derive an expression that enable us to do a calibration of the missing energy based on full Monte Carlo simulations. The underlying model also lets us identify how this calibration needs to be corrected when these observables are not correctly described by the simulations. Once these corrections are applied, the method can be used to get the missing energy of Golden Hybrid events. The average missing energy obtained is, in units of the primary energy, 5 % higher than the parameterization currently in use. This difference would imply a 5 % shift in the energy scale of the experiment.
