Resumen:
We study the chemical properties of the intracluster medium (ICM) using the semi-analytic model of galaxy formation and evolution SAG applied to cosmological N-body/SPH simulations of clusters of galaxies. Among the galaxy properties obtained from SAG, we have the ejection rates of metals that pollute the ICM. The different chemical elements are distributed over the gas particles of the simulations located around each galaxy; these particles trace the hot gas thermodynamical properties. Using this technique, a top-heavy integrated galactic stellar initial mass function allows to obtain radial metallicity profiles of the ICM, in better agreement with observations than those given by the Salpeter IMF, which produces a deficiency of iron in the ICM.
