Resumen:
Hybrid energy storage systems can be instructed to preserve the health of its components by following specific behavior rules. This work proposes a hybrid energy storage system based on battery and supercapacitor which implements strategies to preserve the lifespan of batteries while satisfying the performance requirements. Temperature effect over the battery life is also considered. Simulations results are included.
