            The present paper reports the occurrence of Mysidopsis tortonesei (Basescu, 1968a) and Mysidopsis rionegrensis (Hoffmeyer, 1993) in the Río de la Plata estuary and Buenos Aires coastal waters, respectively. Thus extends the known geographical distribution of both species more than 650 km into the Argentinean Zoogeographical Province. Feasible dispersal mechanisms of those species are discussed.
