TL and RL of undoped and Dy-doped strontium borates prepared by sol-gel method

Borates have shown to be efficient compounds to be employed for ionizing radiation detection (Lavat et al., 2004). In this context, there is a constant search for different synthesis techniques in order to improve the efficiency of luminescent materials. In this work the thermoluminescence (TL) and radioluminescence (RL) response of undoped and Dy-doped strontium borates prepared by sol-gel method have been investigated.
