Resumen:
The resonant Raman scattering is a second order process that becomes important when the incident energy is lower but close to an absorption edge. The emitted photons have a continuous energy distribution with a high energy cut off limit. A qualitative study of the calcium local structure in different layers of teeth was carried out using monochromatic synchrotron radiation. Residuals were determined and the oscillations present patterns that depend on the tooth layer, i.e. on the calcium state.
