Resumen:
Introduction: The production of knowledge in regional Occupational Therapy (OT) underwent conceptual changes in the vision of the subject, health and its underlying values from the social model and the perspective of human rights. In Argentina this is expressed in a normative framework that challenges and commits us to review the understanding of our object of study and intervention, and education as a reproductive space of logics linked to current social demands. The assumption is that knowledge production of OT requires an epistemic organization that includes the Social Tradition in order to be integrated as part of the object in the formation, since the current organization, based on productions from other sociocultural contexts, makes the value of local/regional production invisible.Goals: Map the current state of the art to describe and analyze the configuration of the study and intervention´s objet in OT Argentina.Method: Framed in the project "Current configuration of the objet of study and intervention of OT in university education in Argentina" (ICRM-UNSAM), of exploratory-descriptive design. Bibliographic review of Argentine and Latin American publications and of reference schemes used in education, in subjects that introduce the bases of OT, in local OT curricula. Results: We built an organization of knowledge in OT traditions: reductionist / functional, occupational and social, characterized in axes. Published in RATO, it is already used in Argentine training. Conclusion: The map contributes to integrate the Social Tradition and national / regional bibliography in education and promotes the effectiveness of human rights perspective in the profession.
