Resumen:
In this paper, a prototype for power inductance characterization as a function of the operating current is developed. The settled target range of inductance to characterize is 10uH-10mH. The mitigation of parasitic effects such as skin, proximity effects and stray capacitance are considered. In addition, winding resistance is also measured for an appropriated inductance voltage determination, as its influence cannot be avoided. The implementation of the power stage for inductor test signal generation, as well as the definition of the theoretical principles of data processing are presented.
