Frustrated spin systems have been extensively explored in recent years mainly due to the role that frustration plays in inducing both non-conventional magnetic phases and excitations. In particular, low-dimensional systems are an active field of research with continuous advances in theoretical techniques and experimental discoveries in this type of systems.In the present work we study the free excitations of a quantum Heisenberg model on a highly frustrated honeycomb bilayer lattice under the influence of an external magnetic field.
