Fornax-like clusters in cosmological simulations

The project #59 of the S-PLUS collaboration aimed at studying theFornax galaxy cluster. Weplan to analyse state-of-the-art numerical simulations to understandrelevant observational properties of galaxies in Fornax. We willidentify Fornax-like galaxies in the simulations by searching forgalaxy clusters with the main characteristics of the Fornax cluster.We will compare the photometric and dynamical properties of suchsimulated systems with those derived from S-PLUS data. By followingthe formation histories of simulated objects, we will try to proposepossible formation scenarios for similar observed systems. In thisposter, we present a preliminary anaysis of Fornax-like canditatesselected from state-of-the-art cosmological simulations.
