We present an updated and expanded version of the Cornelissen et al. 2003 Handbook of plant functional traits measurements. This New Handbook retains the focus on clearly-presented, widely applicable, step-by-step recipes, but also introduces new protocols considered critical for understanding plant species’ ecology and predicting its effect on ecosystem processes.
