Resumen:
An evaluation of the main geographic and ecological barriers of Southwestern Continental Patagonia is presented. Geological, biological, ethnographic, archaeological and historical data is revised and discussed in order to assess terrestrial hunter-gatherers patterns of use and circulation within the area.
